TOPIC: Washington State Landlord Mitigation Fund

Summary
Washington state’s Landlord Mitigation Law (RCW 43.31.605) became effective on June 7th of 2018 to provide landlords with an incentive and added security to work with tenants receiving rental assistance. The program offers up to $1,000 to the landlord in reimbursement for some potentially required move-in upgrades, up to fourteen days’ rent loss and up to $5,000 in qualifying damages caused by a tenant during tenancy.

Summary
The Landlord Liaison Program is an innovative program that provides support to Property Managers/Owners who work with Housing Agencies in Pierce County. This support is provided through a partnership with LLP that enables the Property Managers/Owners to become eligible for all of the benefits this program has to offer.

NARPM’s membership is composed of competitors; they must refrain from discussing competitively sensitive topics, including those related to pricing (such as rates, fees, or costs), individual competitors or specific business transactions, or controlling or allocating markets. Further, NARPM shall not restrict members’ ability to solicit competitors’ clients or to advertise for business in any way that is not false, deceptive or otherwise illegal.
